Eat Play Love Animal rescue

Grace, is a 14 year old Spaniel Poodle mix! Grace was brought into a high-kill pound one morning when we were there and was destined to be euthanized  because of her age. She was adopted within a couple hours, and still has lots of life left in her! She is happy in her retirement home with her little brother Zack!

Paisley, a seven week old kitten, rescued from under a balcony in early May. She was adopted on May 14th 2011 to a wonderful home where she will be spoiled rotten we're sure! Her new name is Lucie!

Toby, a kitten born under a balcony of an appartement building to a stray mom. He was born in early April and was the most outgoing of his litter. He was adopted on May 21st 2011 by his new mommy.

Virgule né Basil, a 1 year old Pit Bull rescued from a high-kill pound in April 2011. He is so loving, gentle and obedient that it was no wonder he was adopted so quickly. He was adopted on May 23rd 2011 into an amazing home, to a loving new mommy, and 3 cat siblings!

'Princessa'' was given up because of a move! She is a loving Bichon/Poodle mix who is timid at first, but one she is comfortable she is a total love muffin! Once her new family met her they couldn't resist her! She is 6 years old, and is happy in her retirement home! Her new name is Molly.

Zara (now Mandzi)! A Pit bull born around March 2010. She was left in any weather on a balcony her whole life. She would live in her own feces, and had never been socialized. All that changed when she was brought into Eat Play Love Animal Rescue. We taught her a few manners, and she quickly melted a graet couple's heart. She is adopted into a wonderful home where she will be exhausted of all her extra energy and given more attention that she'll know what to do with! Congratulations!! 

Bailey, dumped at the municipal pound with his 5 siblings and mom. He was only 6 weeks when we rescued him and his sister Marley! He was adopted on July 21st 2011 by a great couple and now has a big German Shephard brother and big cat sister! He couldn't have found a better family, and they are so lucky to have him!

They took one look at her, and fell in love. She makes a wonderful addition to their family and they couldn't love her more!

Formerly Champagne, now Toby, was rescued as a stray with his 4 siblings and mother. He found a wonderful home with his sister, they will love their love bird brother!

Formerly Grigio, now Germaine, was rescued as a stray with her 4 brothers and mother. She found a wonderful home with her brother, they will love their love bird brother!

Joey, now Ghost, was the only male from Rita's litter, and was the first to go to his adoptive home. We are sure he will be so happy! 

Monica, now Sabina, went to her forever home on September 3rd 2011!

Pinot Noir, was rescued as a stray with his 4 siblings and mother. He was adopted by out vet receptionist! Needless to say, he'll be taken care of exceptionally!

Chianti, was rescued as a stray with his 4 siblings and mother. He was adopted by out his new mom on September 2nd 2011!

Phoebe, now Audrey Hepburn, was born to Rita, and was adopted on September 5th 2011! She is learning to get along with her new animal siblings, and is going to be so loved! Thank you to Lori, Sarah, and Megan for giving her an awesome home! 

Joker, now ''Spock'' (because of his mitten paws)! 4.5 month old kitten from a litter of 4. Was adopted by an animal lover who gave him a cat-brother and dog-brother!

Miley - She was in BAD condition when we got her from a pound. She was smelt of pee, her hair was matted, and her nails were beyond acceptable. Our co-found Emily (also a groomer in training) got a hold of her and cleaned her up! Now she actually looks like her SCHNAUZER MIX (probably with Yorkshire Terrier). She is 3 YEARS OLD. She is learning how to sit, and she is full of affection.

Shiraz was rescued with his mother and 4 siblings as a stray litter when they were only 5 weeks old. We were starting to worry about him as since he was soon going to lose his ''kitten'' status. BUT a mother-daughter duo came along and adopted him on September 16th 2011!

Rachel is Rita's kitten, and was the last of her litter to find a new home! She found a great home, with a loving family! She will have many new companions, including dogs and birds! Thank you Elizabeth!

MEG, now BENZ (Female, born on August 4th 2011) -

Mother was a pregnant stray, who was taken in by a generous woman with health issues who couldn't keep her or them.

Thank you Susan for giving her and her sister a loving home!

BETH, now MERCEDES (Female, born on August 4th 2011) -

RITA, now CARAMEL (Born around July 2010)
She was put out on the streets by her irresponsable previous owners. Inevitably she got pregnant and one of our volunteers called her to our attention.
Caramel has found the perfect home for her! She has a great family, with other animals and children, and we are sure she will be SO loved!

JO- Now, Licorice, is adopted! Her adoption was finalized tonight! She was the last of her litter to be adopted! We are so happy for this ''black cat'' whose type is adopted less because of colour!! Congratulations sweetie!

STERLING- Adopted by a great couple who will pamper him with love and attention!

Luke, male, (adopter at the age of 8 weeks) Luke is the most active and largest pup of the litter. He was the first to open his eyes and walk. When we walk over to the puppy pen, he is the first to come over and greet us!

We deemed Luke ready to be adopted. He was the biggest of his litter, and definitely the most advanced!

Daisy, now HOLLY- (Born early September 2011)
She was adopted by a great couple who had been looking for a dog like Daisy for a long time!!

CHARLOTTE- (DOB: September 17th 2011 (placed at the age of 9 weeks))

Duke and Charlotte were rescued from a home where they were destined for a futur malnourishment and backyard breeding.

Their mother (bull mastiff) and father (golden) were also removed from the home. The mother was so skinny you could count all her ribs bones. She even had to eat some of her babies to survive!

Charlotte found her forever home on November 20th 2011, she is now living in the country and will have loads of room to dispense her energy! Congrat baby girl! :)
